The School Technology Specialist provides school-based technical support to students and staff, ensuring functionality of hardware and software for educational needs. Key responsibilities include maintaining inventory of technology devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting the school website, and assisting with state-required testing. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, effective communication skills, and experience with technology troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Skill and experience working with school-age children
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills
- Basic troubleshooting of Macintosh and PC computers and peripherals
- Technical knowledge of network use, hardware, and software
