Job Summary
Oversee behavior and academic supports for students by managing resources, evaluating program expenditures, and assessing the effectiveness of materials and supports. Coordinate and drive the 3-tier intervention program for middle school students and lead the rollout of Restorative Justice initiatives across advisory groups and the school site. Collaborate with lead teachers, admin, teachers, and families to increase engagement and success for at-risk students, including data collection on eligibility, attendance, tardies, and behavior trends. Develop resources and toolkits to support student plans, coordinate and lead Student Study Team meetings and restorative conversations, and ensure action plans are implemented with measurable outcomes. Analyze data to evaluate the success of school-wide intervention programs, determine appropriate enrollment for Break School, and support a school-wide culture that promotes cooperative relationships, responsibility, and appropriate consequences for behavior. Manage advisory and safety teams, evaluate performance, and serve as the main point of contact when coordinating with contractors providing behavior support services. Maintain knowledge of Ed Code and regulations, and support Aspire Public Schools’ mission, vision, values, policies, and confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1 -3 years of experience working with urban youth in a school-setting
- Experience with in or knowledge of youth empowerment programs
