Job Summary
Conduct driveline pick-ups and drop-offs, manage lunch and recess duties, and perform light cleaning between periods. Assist teachers with grading, bulletin boards, and copy room prep while providing breaks office coverage by answering phones and checking in students. Reinforce learning for individual students or small groups, supervise students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips, and float to areas of need. Interact with students and staff in a positive professional manner, ensuring a safe learning environment in a K-8 setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to positively interact with all students
- Ability to identify individual student needs
- Good communication skills with students, coworkers, administration and parents
- Ability to collaborate with school staff
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner

- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Must be able to lift up to approximately 25 pounds

- Must be able to hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone
- Must be able to speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone
- Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions
