Job Summary
Maintain accurate financial records and reports using MYOB to support timely decision-making, while processing payroll, procurement, assets, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Support month-end and year-end financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements, preparing management reports and financial insights to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with financial legislation, policies, and governance requirements, including monitoring fleet vehicle usage and mileage. This role provides financial and administrative support for the School Sport Unit within the NSW Department of Education, ensuring efficient service delivery and continuous improvement across core business functions.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment
- Proven experience using MYOB Software
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens or a valid work visa)
