Job Summary
School Social Worker for the school year. Provide individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs; conduct assessments to identify barriers to student success and create support plans; collaborate with IEP/504 teams to develop services and accommodations; partner with educators, parents, and staff to address student concerns; deliver crisis intervention and trauma-informed support; liaison with families and community services; maintain documentation per CDE and IDEA regulations; participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and MTSS; educate staff on mental health and classroom behavior strategies; uphold professional standards and ongoing development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Valid Colorado Special Services License with a School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
