Job Summary
Provide social-emotional support and counseling to students in individual and group settings; conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans; develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans to support student success; collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns; provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing trauma or significant life challenges; connect students and families with community resources; maintain accurate records in compliance with ISBE and IDEA guidelines; participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and behavioral intervention planning; educate and support teachers on mental health awareness and classroom behavior management strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker Endorsement (ISBE)
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred but not required
