Job Summary
School Social Worker needed for school-year contract in Denver, CO. Responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling to address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs; conducting assessments to identify barriers to student success and developing support plans; collaborating with IEP and 504 teams to develop services and accommodations; partnering with educators, parents, and staff; delivering crisis intervention and trauma-informed support; serving as a liaison to connect students and families with community services; maintaining documentation per CDE and IDEA regulations; participating in IEP meetings, evaluations, and MTSS; educating staff on best practices in mental health, behavior strategies, and student engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Valid Colorado Special Services License with a School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
