School Social Worker - Pathway, STEP & PREP Programs

Provides problem-solving social work services to children and their families in the school setting; serves as liaison between the school, home, and community; coordinates and develops resources inside and outside the school system; collaborates with principals and teachers to address the education, social, and emotional needs of students; participates in diagnostic teams and IEP-related assessments and planning; conducts comprehensive evaluations for emotionally impaired students and contributes to eligibility determinations; provides direct therapy and intervention services, and supports professional growth of staff while maintaining Medicaid records.
