Job Summary
Provides individual and group counseling to support students' social-emotional well-being; serves on the Crisis Team and as a district liaison to agencies (e.g., DCF, psychiatric emergency services, juvenile courts); conducts systemic and MTSS-based interventions to meet students’ diverse needs (IEPs/504s); collaborates with families and Multilingual Department to ensure language accessibility; maintains confidential records and participates in special education evaluation and home assessments; uses Google Workspace for Education and data-tracking software to monitor progress and plan collaboratively; leads restorative practices and crisis intervention; engages in professional development and school-community partnership efforts; 185-day work year; exempt professional; reporting to the Building Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; Valid Massachusetts Teaching License in School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor (All Levels)
