Job Summary
School Social Worker responsible for applying specialized social work knowledge to support students and families in addressing attendance, behavior, health, and adjustment. Collaborates with home, school, and community to promote student success and district mission. Position requires in-county travel and serves through the District’s Student Support Programs and Services at the District Office.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field that includes 300 hours or more of field placement in a K-12 school setting or with diverse individuals in a community setting
- Valid Florida license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Florida Educator Certificate in School Social Work
- Valid Florida Driver’s license
- In-county travel is required
