Job Summary
Provide school social work services to students and families referred to assist in preventing and remediating attendance, behavior, health, and adjustment issues; collaborate with home, school, and community to support student success; position requires in-county travel; 196 days per year, 7.5 hours per day; Master’s degree in Social Work or related field with field placement; Florida LCSW or Florida Educator Certificate in School Social Work and a Florida driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work or related field that includes 300 hours or more of field placement in a K-12 school setting or with diverse individuals in a community setting
- Valid Florida license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Florida Educator Certificate in School Social Work
- Valid Florida Driver’s license
