Job Summary
Supervise and monitor children at all times while implementing educational activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development. Use positive redirection and reinforcement to guide care, individualize one-to-one and group experiences, and observe assessments to track and communicate developmental progress to parents. Maintain confidentiality, recognize and document suspected abuse or accidents, and adhere to all health and safety policies and facility protocols. Complete required reports, manage data in MyClubHub and other systems, and participate in staff meetings. Represent the Boys & Girls Club positively and work overtime or odd schedules as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma
- Must meet or exceed licensing requirements for age, education and experience
- At least one year experience in a licensed child care facility that includes infant and preschool
- Must be proficient with the use of workforce technology (i.e. computers and smartphones) with the ability to complete basic tasks including but not limited to electronic lesson planning, sending and managing emails, navigating data bases, keeping files and folders organized, using the internet, and other basic functions
- Valid Driver's License and liability insurance
- Ability to perform all job requirements satisfactorily and meet the Education/Experience, Personal Skills/Characteristics, Reasoning Ability, Physical Conditions, Work Environment and Environmental Conditions listed below
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime and odd schedules
- Regular attendance is required; arrive on time; punctuality is required

- Associates Degree/CDA preferred
