Job Summary
Provide sign language interpretation services for elementary and high school students during classroom instruction, school activities, and educational events. Facilitate effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and teachers, staff, and peers while collaborating with educators to promote an inclusive learning environment. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accurate documentation throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Earn $51.20–$52.30 per hour with comprehensive health coverage, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match. Requires active Georgia Sign Language Interpreter and Educational Interpreter licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Certification
- Active Georgia Educational Interpreter License
- Experience interpreting in educational settings, preferably with elementary and/or high school students
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt interpretation services to diverse student needs
