School Safety Officer responsible for security, access control, emergency preparedness, child supervision, safety inspections, training, and documentation at a preschool and daycare center; duties include monitoring entry points, enforcing sign-in, maintaining alarms and cameras, developing emergency response plans, conducting drills, training staff, liaising with emergency services, supervising children, reporting incidents, and staying current with safety regulations; requires CPR/First Aid certification, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies; schedule 7am–6:30pm; full-time with health benefits and PTO; Port Washington, NY.
