Job Summary
Monitor school grounds and ensure student safety in accordance with School Board Policy 3.10. Conduct oneself in the best interest of students while following adopted policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Comply with drug and alcohol-free workplace procedures, including mandatory testing and medical clearance as required by School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961. Submit to background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board
- Completion of forms related to the employee benefits package
- Compliance with School Board Policy 3.10
- Completion of drug testing pursuant to School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961
- Medical clearance from professionals selected by the School Board (if applicable)
- Meeting the Word per Minute (WPM) requirement for the given position (for clerical positions)
- Permission to furnish confidential records to the Department of School Police and/or the Division of Human Resources
