Job Summary
Provides general secretarial/clerical support in the school office to ensure efficient operation, including handling attendance, enrollment, records, scheduling, receptionist duties, and customer service. Key duties include tabulating daily attendance, contacting parents, processing absences, maintaining pupil records and transcripts, managing time and attendance for staff, typing correspondence, handling mail, coordinating with Truancy personnel, and supporting school counselors and administrators as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Accurately type a minimum of 40 wpm
- 80% proficiency on written clerical skills assessment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (spreadsheet, word processing, Power Point)
- Two (2) years of prior clerical/secretarial experience
