School Safety Officer (Certified Police Officer) - 12 months

Patrol school campuses and respond to emergency situations while conducting threat assessments and originating police reports. Detain or arrest perpetrators of offenses against school personnel or property when necessary. Prepare detailed findings reports for investigators and meet with school principals daily to develop strategies preventing dangerous situations. Confer with administration, faculty, and parents to provide educational leadership on crime prevention, drug issues, and safety. Act as a communication liaison with external law enforcement agencies and refer students to appropriate assistance agencies.
