Job Summary
Performs all duties as a Police Officer and specialized School Resource Officer; acts as an instructor for specialized programs at schools and other locations; coordinates activities with principals and staff; develops subject-matter expertise to present to students on laws and officer duties; facilitates individual/small group discussions; attends parent/faculty meetings; assists students, parents, and faculty with law enforcement or crime-prevention issues; maintains referrals and records for the SRO program; conducts security checks and crime-prevention initiatives; handles administrative tasks and training to maintain certifications; open until filled; requires a High School diploma or GED, two years of law enforcement experience, Class I certification, other required law enforcement certifications, and a valid driver’s license; salary begins at $63,939 per year and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications

- Must be currently certified as a Class I officer
