Job Summary
School Psychologist needed for 2026–2027 school year in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include conducting cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral assessments; interpreting results to inform educational planning; providing individual or group counseling; collaborating with educators, parents, and professionals; participating in IEP/MTSS/manifestation determination meetings; delivering crisis intervention when needed; conducting research and program evaluation to support evidence-based practices; staying current with laws and ethics; and pursuing ongoing professional development. Must have a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology and active state certification/licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in the applying state; NCSP not required. Opportunities exist across districts with full-time, part-time, on-site, hybrid, or remote options. W2 employment with weekly pay, potential 12-month salaried pay, and comprehensive benefits. Flexible scheduling and supportive leadership. Salary suggested at $55–$60 per hour (annualized to roughly $114,400–$124,800 depending on hours).
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active state School Psychologist certification or licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- NCSP Certification (not required)
- Experience conducting psychological assessments to students in an educational setting preferred
