Job Summary
School Psychologist responsible for conducting psychological assessments of students (cognitive, academic, emotional, behavioral), interpreting results to inform educational planning, providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with educators and families to develop interventions, participating in IEP/MTSS and other meetings, providing crisis intervention as needed, and conducting program evaluation to support evidence-based practices in schools. Must hold or be eligible for state licensure as a School Psychologist (AZ IVP Card required) and typically hold a master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology; NCSP encouraged. Roles encompass on-site, remote, hybrid, or other flexible structures with a focus on collaboration, student-centered services, and compliance with relevant laws and ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active state School Psychologist certification or licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state where you are applying
- NCSP Certification (not required)
- Experience conducting psychological assessments to students in an educational setting preferred
- AZ IVP Card
