Job Summary
School Psychologist needed to provide emotional and behavioral evaluations, collaborate with diagnosticians and other service providers, and support ARD processes in school settings. You will evaluate intellectual, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning; select and administer appropriate tests, score and interpret results, and write psychological evaluation reports and behavior management plans. Participation in local Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee activities and recommendations for Special Education eligibility based on identified disabilities are part of the role. The position offers flexible scheduling within a part-time framework and may involve serving one charter school or multiple schools in the Dallas area. Licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas and a Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program are required; 2-3 years of school-based experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (MA, M.S. of Eds) from a NASP accredited institution
- Licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a School Psychologist
- 2-3 years of experience in a school setting a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, special education, and human development
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Demonstrate passion for serving students
- Effective interpersonal skills
