Job Summary
School Psychologist needed for the school year. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs; developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans; providing individual and group counseling; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies; participating in IEP meetings and crisis interventions; maintaining confidential records per SCDE and IDEA; providing staff training on mental health and behavior management; supporting students with social skills development, self-regulation, and behavioral interventions. Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology and SCDE certification required; NCSP preferred; fingerprint clearance. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
- South Carolina Educator Certificate in School Psychology (SCDE)
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
