Job Summary
School Psychologist position for the school year in Villa Park, IL. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments of students’ academic, cognitive, and social-emotional needs; developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans; providing individual and group counseling; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams to design intervention strategies; participating in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed; maintaining confidential records per ISBE/IDEA guidelines; and providing staff training on mental health, behavior management, and student wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement (ISBE)
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
