Job Summary
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavioral growth. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop effective academic and behavioral interventions. Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis interventions as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regulations and IDEA guidelines. Provide consultation and training for staff on topics such as mental health, classroom behavior management, and social-emotional learning. Support students in developing social skills, coping strategies, and self-regulation techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist License issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred
- Fingerprint clearance & background check required
