Job Summary
School Psychologist needed for the school year (two positions: one full-year, another 3–4 months maternity leave). Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments of students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs; developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans; providing individual and group counseling; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies; participating in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed; maintaining confidential records per MDE/IDEA guidelines; providing staff training on mental health and behavior management; and offering professional development and support, with potential contract extensions or conversion to a permanent position. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Michigan Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate or Full School Psychologist Certificate (MDE)
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
