Job Summary
School Psychologist needed to cover maternity leave in Brighton, MI. Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs; develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans; provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies; participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed; maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines; provide training and consultation for staff on mental health, behavior management, and student wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Michigan Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate or Full School Psychologist Certificate (issued by the Michigan Department of Education – MDE).
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
