Job Summary
Provide psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs; develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans; deliver individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies; participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed; maintain confidential records per MDE/IDEA guidelines; provide staff training on mental health and student wellness; fingerprint clearance and background check required; benefits include contract-based hours up to 40 per week, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Michigan Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate or Full School Psychologist Certificate (issued by the Michigan Department of Education – MDE).
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
