Job Summary
School Psychologist needed for the school year. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing and implementing IEPs/504 plans, providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with teachers/parents/special education teams, participating in IEP meetings and crisis intervention as needed, maintaining confidential records per MDE/IDEA guidelines, and providing staff training on mental health and behavior management. Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology and state certification; NCSP preferred. Compensation is hourly with contracts up to 40 hours/week and time-and-a-half for approved hours beyond 40. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Michigan Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate or Full School Psychologist Certificate (issued by the Michigan Department of Education – MDE)
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
