Job Summary
Provide psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs; develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans; deliver individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies; participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed; maintain confidential records per CDE/IDEA guidelines; provide training and consultation for staff on mental health and behavior management, and student wellness; contract-based role with up to 40 hours per week and pay enhanced for hours over 40 as approved by supervisor; includes benefits like paid holidays, PTO accrual, and retirement savings options.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License – School Psychologist Endorsement
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
