Job Summary
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ academic, cognitive, and social-emotional needs; develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans; provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies; participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed; maintain confidential records and documentation per ISBE and IDEA guidelines; provide training and consultation for staff on mental health, behavior management, and student wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement (ISBE)
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
