Job Summary
Split role combining School Psychologist (.5 FTE) and School Counselor (.5 FTE) at high school level; responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting results to inform educational planning, providing counseling to students individually or in groups, collaborating with educators and families to implement interventions, participating in IEP/MTSS and other district/school meetings, providing crisis intervention, conducting program evaluation, staying current with laws and ethical standards, and engaging in professional development. Requires a Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology and active state certification/licensure eligibility; NCSP certification preferred. Hybrid, full-time position with benefits and potential 12-month salaried option; W2 employment with weekly pay; roles may vary by state/district requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active state School Psychologist certification or licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state where you are applying
- NCSP Certification (not required)
- Experience conducting psychological assessments to students in an educational setting preferred
