Job Summary
The School Psychologist will provide knowledge of and implement local, state and federal policies and regulations pertaining to educating and training disabled students. Responsibilities include employing diagnostic strategies, management procedures, and resources aligned with the district's appraisal program; developing behavior management plans; and collaborating with district counselors and teachers to implement them. The role requires adherence to a strict code of professional ethics regarding confidentiality and family privacy, and to respect the legislative rights of disabled children and youth.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology orBachelor’s Degree with Texas license as LSP/Interntrainee status
- Valid Texas license as LSP or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology or LSP Intern status
- Experience in providing psychology services in an education setting
