Job Summary
Provide direct consultation services for students experiencing academic and/or behavioral difficulties by participating in Intervention Assistance Teams or collaborating with school staff in identifying difficulties, developing and implementing appropriate interventions. Conduct psychoeducational assessments, functional behavior assessments, and assist in developing and implementing Individual Educational Programs (IEPs). Coordinate ARC meetings, communicate results to families, support staff in policy procedures, training, and district Special Education processes, and maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, and teachers to promote student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and required Kentucky Department of Education certification for assigned position.
- Proven ability to work effectively with students.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty.
