Job Summary
Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret findings for families and staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and behavior intervention plans. Provide individual and group counseling to address social-emotional concerns and mental health issues impacting learning. Consult with teachers and parents on classroom strategies, manage crisis interventions, and maintain confidential records of all psychological documentation. Support school-wide initiatives focused on positive behavior and social-emotional learning while working onsite in a PreK–12 setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures, testing procedures, and diagnostic criteria
- Excellent understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices related to the provision of psychological services in schools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers
- Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques
