Job Summary
Provide school psychology services within the MTSS framework, lead Multi-Tiered Systems of Support decisions under MARSE rules, and participate in Multi-Evaluation Teams for eligibility determinations. Conduct extensive psychological evaluations, administer and interpret evaluations in educational settings, develop and implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), collect data and perform observations for students with emotional, learning, or attention challenges, support social-emotional learning and instructional interventions, interpret results to school personnel and families, and provide consultative support to teachers and administrators. Maintain strong written reporting for initial and re-determination evaluations and collaborate with the Director of Special Education and other district staff to apply best practices in special education and student support.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in School Psychology
- State of Michigan School Psychologist certification
