Job Summary
School Psychologist sought for per diem employment to support Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs in Goshen, Wappinger, Sugar Loaf, and Ulster County, NY. Responsibilities include evaluating, monitoring, and adjusting treatment plans; testing and evaluating child abilities to set realistic goals; documenting evaluations and progress in an EMR system; writing detailed analyses and reports; maintaining confidential records; complying with NYS CPSE/CSE laws; and collaborating as part of a team to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education. Requires a Master’s degree in School Psychology, NYS School Psychologist certification, and a minimum of two years of experience in special education; pay is hourly per diem with benefits as available; Frontline/IEP Direct experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Psychology
- Certification in NYS as a School Psychologist
- Minimum of two years working with children in special education
- Knowledge and experience administering standardized testing (cognitive, achievement, behavioral/social-emotional and adaptive skills)
- Experience using Frontline (IEP Direct) to assist in developing IEPs
