Job Summary

Conduct preschool special education evaluations for children ages 3-5, including reviewing client information, completing IEP documents, and gathering performance data across various settings. Establish rapport with families, caregivers, and co-workers while communicating effectively with related agencies and community members. Utilize Provider Soft to record notes, submit evaluation write-ups to team leaders, and attend mandatory quarterly meetings and CPSE meetings. Maintain confidentiality of client records and participate in ongoing staff in-services.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in School Psychology or Doctor of Psychology
  • Evaluation and assessment experience
  • Familiarity with a variety of preschool assessment tools
  • Proficient on assessment tools necessary for evaluations
  • Works independently
  • Manages time and prioritizes tasks appropriately
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Evidence of independence, initiative and forward thinking related to clinical expertise
  • Open to feedback and commitment to quality of provided services
  • Responds positively to suggestions/directions, maintains a flexible attitude and generates new ideas and process improvements
  • Maintains confidentiality of client records
