Job Summary

School Psychologist responsibilities across Hopkins Elementary (0.8 FTE) and Field Elementary (0.2 FTE) include conducting assessments, developing IEPs, functioning as part of the RTI and crisis intervention systems, and delivering counseling groups. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, knowledge of current special education laws and best practices in assessment and service delivery, data-driven decision making, and effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents. Candidates should demonstrate experience with case management, behavior intervention plans, danger assessments, and the ability to work within a team to support student outcomes. Starting salary is contingent on the district’s 1.0 FTE salary schedule and is described in the annual contract details. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement plans, and PERA.

Required Qualifications

  • Hold or be eligible to hold a Colorado Department of Education License
  • Hold appropriate endorsement(s) as school psychologist
  • Minimum of 60 graduate semester hours for the preparation of school psychologist
  • Successful completion of internship in school psychology
  • Previous teaching experience subject area and/or level desirable
