Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations using psychometric assessments while facilitating IEP and Manifestation Determination meetings. Provide counseling and instructional support for students managing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges, and collaborate with teachers to develop behavioral intervention plans. Assist in identifying student needs through classroom observation and maintain accurate case management records within mandated timeframes. Work within the Special Education department to promote campus-wide wellness initiatives and consult with parents and school personnel regarding student behaviors.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in school psychology
- Certified as a School Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
- Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with peers, teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside professional contracts
- Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements
