Job Summary
Provide a broad range of school psychology services to enhance student performance, including formal special education assessments (intellectual ability, learning profiles, emotional functioning, attention, autism spectrum, behavior disorders), interpretation and recommendations, counseling (individual, group, family), collaboration with PPT/EIP/PBS teams, crisis intervention, DCF referrals, and interagency coordination. Develop Behavior Intervention Plans and Functional Behavior Assessments in consultation with school teams; provide consultation to staff; participate in interagency meetings and school crisis planning; deliver presentations and contribute to district mental health initiatives; maintain current knowledge of IDEIA/RTI and related practices.
Required Qualifications
- State of Connecticut Certification as a School Psychologist (#070)
- Graduate degree in psychology
