Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and related services, interpreting results to prepare written reports with educationally relevant recommendations. Participate as a multidisciplinary team member in eligibility, IEP, manifestation determination, and student support meetings while supporting the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and problem-solving processes. Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and staff regarding intervention strategies, assist in developing evidence-based academic and behavioral plans, and monitor student progress to inform educational decision-making. Provide professional development to school personnel, facilitate collaboration between schools and community agencies, and assist with threat assessment and crisis response. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements while remaining current on best practices and legal standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid SC Certification as a School Psychologist II or III
Desired Qualifications
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting
- Experience with MTSS, behavior intervention, and crisis response
