Job Summary
Lead, organize, and implement the school improvement planning process and serve as the educational and administrative leader of the TK-8 charter school. Ensure standards-based instruction through the district curriculum, provide appropriate assessments to drive student learning, and oversee staff professional learning. Lead curriculum development, data-driven instructional strategies, and culturally responsive practices; implement PBIS and extended learning time strategies; manage budgeting, staffing, facilities, and operations; coordinate family and community involvement and partnerships; oversee special education referral and inclusive practices; and communicate effectively with parents and community stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Supervision, or Education
- Three (3) years of successful Principal experience
- Five (5) years of successful teaching experience
- A valid Michigan school administrator’s certificate
- A valid teaching certification
