Job Summary
Lead and manage the TK-8 public charter school as Principal, overseeing instructional leadership, curriculum development, program evaluation, arts integration, staff supervision and professional development, data-driven instruction, PBIS implementation, special education processes, family/community engagement, budget and facilities management, and compliance with local/state/federal requirements. Build partnerships with the community, coordinate extended learning time strategies, and ensure high expectations and student achievement across the school with a focus on collaborative leadership and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Supervision, or Education
- Three (3) years of successful Principal experience
- Five (5) years of successful teaching experience
- A valid Michigan school administrator’s certificate
- A valid teaching certification
