Job Summary
The School Police Officer role entails protecting and maintaining a safe school environment, providing law enforcement services to the school community, serving as a liaison between law enforcement and school staff, preventing juvenile delinquency, developing crime prevention programs, and maintaining close partnerships with school administration to ensure safety. Requires an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field (preferred) and PA State Police Academy Training, strong communication and investigative abilities, confidentiality, and the capacity to perform physical and operational duties with minimal supervision.
