Job Summary
Travel to local schools in your own vehicle to transport, set up, and dismantle photography equipment for photo day events. Capture genuine student smiles and organize images using photo software after each shoot. Manage logistics for occasional overnight stays, including hotel and per diem, while maintaining a cheerful presence with children. Complete background and health screenings as required by state policy. Work an average of 30+ hours weekly with early start times, potentially extending into December depending on event schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in Uniontown, PA or the surrounding cities
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18+
- A reliable, insured vehicle
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM!) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment
- Ability to store camera equipment in home when not in use
- A cheerful, friendly personality
- Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
- Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills
- Comfort working independently for smaller events after training
- Comfortable working with computers / cameras and ability to learn new programs
- Grooming and professional appearance that reflects Jostens' standards
- Reliable cell phone and internet access
- May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state specific policies
