Job Summary
Travel to local schools in your own vehicle to capture genuine smiles and priceless school memories during photo day events. Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment, then use photo software to organize and manage images. Build hands-on photography experience in a dynamic setting while working independently after training. Start early, often before 4 AM, and be prepared for occasional extended hours or overnight stays with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement. This seasonal position runs through November with potential extension into December, offering competitive pay and a 401k match. Required Qualifications
- Must reside in Rochester, NY or surrounding area
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18+
- A reliable, insured vehicle
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM!) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment
- Ability to store camera equipment in home when not in use
- A cheerful, friendly personality
- Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
- Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills
- Comfort working independently for smaller events after training
- Comfortable working with computers / cameras and ability to learn new programs
- Grooming and professional appearance that reflects Jostens' standards
- Reliable cell phone and internet access
- Must be able to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state specific policies
