Job Summary
Seasonal School Photographer responsible for capturing genuine smiles and school memories. Use your personal vehicle to travel to local schools, transport and set up photography equipment, and manage images with photo software. Paid training provided with no photography experience required; competitive pay at $18-$20/hour, average 30+ hours per week with overtime during peak weeks, and paid travel time plus mileage reimbursement. Opportunities for advancement to Photo Team Lead with an extra $1/hour. Includes daily pay option and potential hotel/per diem for travel. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a reliable, insured vehicle with a valid U.S. driver’s license; early start times (as early as 4 AM) and travel may be involved; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a school environment with children; strong communication and customer-service skills; comfortable working independently after training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)
- Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment
- Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
- Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills
- Comfort working independently for smaller events after training
- Travel to schools, as scheduled, for photo day events
