School Operations Support Specialist

Job Summary
Transport students to Tulsa Community College, field trips, and school-sponsored activities while conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate transportation records. Provide substitute classroom coverage by following lesson plans and maintaining a productive learning environment during teacher absences. Support arrival and dismissal, manage inventory and facilities projects, and respond to emerging operational needs across multiple school locations. Work flexible hours across transportation, classroom, and operational functions to ensure students, teachers, and school leaders can focus on teaching and learning.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
- Must be able to safely operate a school bus and other approved vehicles
- Must be able to sit for extended periods while driving
- Must be able to frequently enter and exit school buses and other vehicles
- Must be able to perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods while supporting classrooms and school operations
- Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials associated with school operations
- Must be able to assist students entering or exiting a vehicle when necessary
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to perform duties indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be available to work across multiple functions and, when necessary, multiple KIPP Tulsa locations
