Job Summary

Teach graduate-level clinical courses across fall, winter, and summer terms, delivering a sound academic experience to BYU students. Demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching while mentoring students from diverse backgrounds. Submit a mission alignment statement addressing loyalty to Jesus Christ, building faith in the community, and teaching subject matter through the Spirit of God. Complete the online application with a current curriculum vitae, cover letter, and three letters of recommendation sent directly to the department. Relocate to and reside in Utah for the duration of employment.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree
  • 2 years of Social Work practice experience
  • MSW degree
  • 2 years post-MSW practice experience
  • Relocation to Utah
  • Residence in Utah for the duration of employment
  • Current temple recommend
  • Worthiness to hold a temple recommend
  • Adherence to the university's Honor Code
  • Adherence to Dress & Grooming Standards
  • Commitment to the Mission of Brigham Young University
  • Commitment to the Aims of a BYU Education
  • Intentionality in building faith in Jesus Christ and testimony of His restored gospel among members of the BYU community
