Job Summary
Lead program compliance, candidate advising, and accreditation support within the Educator Preparation Program by managing state certification processes, institutional reporting, and data systems. Collect, validate, and analyze candidate performance data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain complete candidate records, serve as the primary academic advisor, and monitor progress toward certification eligibility while ensuring adherence to Michigan Department of Education and CAEP requirements. Coordinate evidence for accreditation site visits and manage the Experiential Learning Cloud system for clinical placements. Serve as an active member of the Admission, Quality Assurance, and Candidate Support committees, providing data-driven recommendations to faculty and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Three to five years of experience in higher education, academic advising, student records, institutional reporting, or related administrative work
- Experience managing confidential student records and databases
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting data
- Knowledge of FERPA
- Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret, and present quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to identify trends, evaluate program outcomes, and prepare data-informed recommendations
- Experience developing reports, statistical summaries, and visual presentations of data
- Ability to ensure data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Experience using student information systems and education data management software
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize the MTTC Analyzer, Canvas, Experiential Learning Cloud, and other assessment management systems
- Ability to manage multiple databases simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and external agencies
- Exceptional organizational skills with careful attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting strict reporting deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive student information
- Demonstrates support for the mission of Rochester Christian University through evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ and active participation in a local church
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all responsibilities
